Volgograd region

Transport reform is being actively implemented here: LNG-powered buses are being used, and a project to build an LNG plant and infrastructure for LNG consumption is being developed. Regional authorities appreciate the potential of LNG for the agricultural sector as a tool for energy supply "anywhere". Tests of Russia's first LNG fuelling vehicle on an all-terrain chassis are being prepared.

Arkhangelsk region

A unique Arctic region where LNG production from pipeline gas is possible. It is here that a number of Russian companies - CRIUOGAZ, Arkhangelsk LNG, Gazprom LNG Technologies - are planning to build small-scale LNG plants for social gasification needs.

Mitap No. 3

Sakhalin Oblast

Island region. The path to 100% gasification has been identified as one of the development goals (in this matter, the Sakhalin Oblast claims to be a pioneer in the Russian Federation), and LNG will be the main tool for gasification and transport fuel supply here. It is here that one of the large-capacity Russian LNG projects, Sakhalin Energy, is located.

St Petersburg

The region is a pioneer in the mass use of LNG in transport: more than 3,000 buses are successfully operating on city routes. The largest LNG fuelling station in Europe is located here. The bright case of St. Petersburg's success provides the necessary impetus for the development of NGV transport not only in St. Petersburg, but also in neighbouring regions.

Sverdlovsk region

One of the leading regions in implementing the programme to convert vehicles to natural gas as a fuel. The project is actively supported by regional authorities - the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region has approved internal financial incentives and the region is actively implementing LNG infrastructure projects.

Transbaikal Territory

This region is the first in Russia to use integrated gasification of the region through LNG - via "virtual" gas pipelines. In the long term, this is where the largest project on socially important LNG application and creation of comfortable living conditions for the population will be implemented.

Mitap No. 7

Perm Territory

This is the region where the first LNG plant was launched to provide social gasification of the population, and it is from Perm Krai that the history of the network of LNG plants began, many theories were tested and specialists from all over the country were trained. Currently, LNG is being used in Perm Krai for social gasification, and gas-fuelled transoption is being actively developed.
